Steam boiler machines & equipments in Pakistan
There was a time in Pakistan when there were steam engine trains, and they ran all across the country. Whenever the word steam boiler machines or equipment is being discussed, steam engines always come to mind as a steam-related machine. However, now these trains do not run anymore in Pakistan. However, several types of steam boiler machines and equipment are still in use in Pakistan. These steam boiler machines & equipment include steam boilers, industrial steam boilers, ECM synchronika, Breville dual boilers, steam radiators, locomotive boilers, low-pressure boilers, double-boiler espresso machines, and electric steam boilers. These machines and equipment are as follows:-
Steam boiler:
A steam boiler is a cylinder type of machine which is located in many firms and organizations. This machine is a closed vessel used to boil water for industrial work and purposes in organizations. The steam is produced in this vessel, and after that, heat is produced in the cylinder. This type of machine is found in sugar mills, cotton mills, etc., for the heating and boiling purposes of sugar, etc. that's why it's known as a steam boiler.
ECM synchronika:
It is a type of machine used to boil coffee and to keep the coffee hot. This machine is also commonly used in Pakistan in many coffee restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It is an espresso machine; that's why its primary purpose is to boil the coffee as it is the type of the boiling machine as well, that's why it is on the list.
Dual boiler machine:
Like an espresso machine, this machine is also used to boil coffee and has double blades attached to it, as stated in the name itself; that's why it is called a dual boiler machine.
Moreover, this machine has rotary blades attached to it as well inside. Coffee is also a commonly used drink in Pakistan; that's why these machines are used in coffee shops, restaurants, etc. This machine serves the people. It is also known as a dual boiler because it has two separate chambers attached to it in which the water is boiled in one chamber, and the coffee is heating up in the other chamber or boiler; that's why it is called a dual boiler machine for this purpose.
Steam radiator:
These radiators are used in vehicles to keep vehicles cool as these radiators are attached to the cars to keep running. However, radiators also means that these machines are used for radiation, which means that the steam is used to keep the radiators cool. As if the radiators are hot, then they will not be able to cool the vehicles and other things to which they are attached.
Locomotive boiler:
It is used to keep train engines running, and this machine is attached to the front of the train engine through which the strain would keep running on tracks. Previously there were steam engine trains that ran throughout Pakistan. However, now the train engines are run on other fuels such as diesel, etc. However, there are still locomotive boiler machines attached in front of the engine and keep the engine excellent as well, by which it would run throughout the country. Not only that but steam boiler machines were also used in marines as well by which the marines could also keep running throughout the sea. This locomotive boiler runs through an internally run furnace.
Low-pressure boiler:
As stated by the name itself, the low-pressure boiler is used for low-pressure boiling. In this boiler, the temperature does not exceed more than 250 degrees, and the minimum temperature is 15 psi, and it does not fall below it. The pressure in this boiler is significantly less. Those things are boiled in this boiler, which requires low pressure to be boiled because they are boiled at a heating temperature. They would then be burned, so this boiler is used to boil those needed to be boiled at low temperatures.
Electric steam boiler:
The steam boiler described earlier is run on gas, and this electric steam boiler runs on electricity; that's why it is called an electric steam boiler. This electric steam boiler comes in different shapes and sizes, from small to large. Various items are boiled in this steam boiler, such as food items, edibles, etc. The gas steam boiler is cylinder-shaped, but this electric steam boiler is of different standardized shapes and sizes as they are designed for various purposes. These boilers run on electricity. An electric steam boiler is used in many industries, firms, organizations, etc., for different purposes.
Therefore, those mentioned above and discussed machines are operated through steam and are used in industries, restaurants, and business organizations. All of the machines mentioned above and equipment run on steam or have steam-related or associated work with it. Steam is directly or indirectly involved in these machines; that's why they are on the list.
The following are the type of steam boilers machines used in Pakistan.
Types of steam boiler machines and equipment used in homes
Electric steam kettle:
The electric steam kettle is used to boil things, and it is used a lot in homes for coffee and other types. The electric steam kettle has become a common practice in homes as many people do not prefer kettles that run through gas, and that's why these kettles are used in homes frequently now.
Electric steam teapots:
A few years back, some teapots ran on gases. However, now these teapots are becoming obsolete over time. People shift towards electronic teapots in their homes; these teapots also use steam and run on electricity. Many people, after the introduction of electric steam teapots, have shifted towards electric steam teapots. The only similarity between electric teapots and gas teapots is that both use steam to run, and both release steam when in use.
Therefore, those mentioned above are the common types of steam machine sand equipment used in Pakistani households.
The following prices of these steam machines and equipment types by which the price of steam boiler machines and equipment would know. These prices are taken from websites and the products available on those websites on the internet.
- Steam boiler
- Rs 800000 to 15200000
- ECM synchronika
- Rs 760000
- Dual boiler machine
- Rs 1056000 to Rs 1520000
- Steam radiator
- Rs 368000 to Rs 416000
- Locomotive boiler
- Rs 480000 to Rs 4800000
- Low-pressure boiler
- Rs 128000 to Rs 640000
- Electric steam boiler
- Rs 50000
- Electric steam kettle
- Rs 192000 to Rs 320000
- Electric steam teapot
- Rs 320 to Rs 2600
Therefore, the above-stated table states the prices of electric equipment in Pakistan. Some prices are higher than expecte, and somee prices are lower than expected as there is a massive difference between the prices of electric equipment.
CONCLUSION
Although in steam equipment, Pakistan is a lot behind other developed countries in technology, some steam equipment is being used in Pakistan currently, and some of them have been discussed above. The following suggestions should be followed by which steam equipment would be more frequently used in Pakistan, and they would be easily available:-
Use steam pieces of equipment more commonly:
In Pakistan, steam equipment should be used more commonly. Still, many households prefer gas equipment such as gas teapots, gas burners, etc.
Use electric steam machines and types of equipment where necessary:
The steam equipment in Pakistan is going out of Pakistan with time; however, these equipment types would be beneficial. There will be a lesser electric bill when using steam equipment instead of electrical equipment.
Try to use Pakistani manufactured steam boiler equipment:
Pakistan's people should use the Pakistani manufactured steam equipment to generate revenue generated in Pakistan, and it will not leave Pakistan.
Up-to-date steam equipment should be used:
There are steam types of equipment used in Pakistan, but those equipment types are sometimes not updated. That's why that equipment should be updated and used more commonly.
Therefore, the suggestions mentioned above should be followed by which steam machines and equipment would be used more commonly and easily in Pakistan.
There was a time in Pakistan when steam machines and equipment in Pakistan were commonly used, such as steam iron, steam engine trains, etc. However, now with time, these machines have gone out of practice as now they are considered obsolete. However, those steam machines that are up to date and beneficial for the country should be used more commonly and adequately, useful for Pakistan.
