Plastic waste from toys:

As most children break toys and the broken parts of those toys are also thrown into the dustbin, the plastic is dumped.

The above-mentioned are the common types of plastic waste that roam around Pakistan. Even though plastic waste is burned sometimes, it pollutes the air. That's why the people of Pakistan suffer from different diseases such as Asthma, etc. Many types of plastic never burn, such as plastic shoppers, as they cannot burn with fire or acid. These plastic shoppers keep traveling throughout the country as they do not dissolve in any substance.

However, some machines do proper waste recycling and waste disposal practices, which are as follows:-

Waste sorting machine:

The name itself says that this machine is used to sort waste. This machine separates the waste according to the category as there are several types of wastage in Pakistan currently. This machine is not commonly used in Pakistan, but it should be made familiar as there is a lot of need for this machine to sort the waste.

Waste recycling machine:

Once the waste is sorted, waste is put into the waste recycling machine after being sorted from the waste sorting machine. There are several types of waste recycling machines as well. In Pakistan, many organizations are using waste recycling machines.

Tyre recycling machine:

There are tyre recycling machines as well which are used in the shops of the country currently. Although tyre is made of rubber, the discussion of this machine is necessary, and it is also a type of recycling machine. The tyre recycling machines are used to repair old tyres, and they could be seen in different tyre shops, such as petrol pump tyre shops and separate tyre shops.

Therefore, those mentioned above are the recycling machines used to recycle plastic waste in the country. These machines are used to separate and recycle that waste. Therefore, these machines should also be made standard in Pakistan as waste disposal is one of Pakistan's biggest problems. This problem has taken a risen in the past three years, especially after 2017.

Some organizations in Pakistan are following proper waste disposal practices. However, the machines that do acceptable waste disposal practices are mostly imported from abroad as they are of high quality. However, some machines are made in Pakistan but significantly less in amount as there is less budget to manufacture those machines.

CONCLUSIONS

After all, it can be said that the problem of waste disposal is not new in Pakistan, as it took place in Pakistan at the end of the 20th century.  As people started littering in the streets and almost everywhere; otherwise, before that, Karachi was considered the cleanest city in the world in the '70s and '80s. However, in the 1990s, this littering started. It never stopped, and the issue worsened in 2017 as there were piles of garbage from which the plastic waste was most easily identified as it was thrown without category.

The firms which use plastic-producing machines and equipment are not being criticized. However, they could follow some suggestions by which Pakistan would become a livable country again. Therefore, the following are the suggestions for those firms and the people of Pakistan as well.

Use other types of shoppers/bags rather than plastic shoppers/bags: The people of Pakistan should boycott plastic bags & plastic shoppers altogether. They are the number 1 pollutant that pollutes the environment, and they cannot be burned. Thus, the people using these plastic bags should not use these plastic bags and shift towards other types of shoppers, such as paper bags, clothes, shoppers, etc. These practices were made common in the early 2000s, and the environment was less polluted; thus, this practice should be made common again.

Organizations should use recycling machines as well:

As many organizations earn from producing and manufacturing plastic products so it could not be advised or suggested that they should close completely, they should use recycling machines simultaneously and plastic products making machines.

Follow environmental friendly practices:

Many firms follow environmentally friendly practices, but many firms also do not manufacture in an environment-friendly way. Therefore, those organizations should also produce in an environment-friendly way, along with quality certificates.

Have quality certificates such as ISO 9000 series and ISO 14001 series: There are certificates of quality necessary for the organization to operate according to environment-friendly way, and there would be fewer wastages. The organizations' plastic manufacturing machines should also have quality certificates for those machines they would produce in an environment-friendly way.

Use Pakistani-manufactured machines and equipment in organizations: Although they are not of very high quality. However, the organizations that produce plastic bottles and other plastic-related products should use Pakistani-manufactured machines through which Pakistan's companies earn.

The revenue will not go outside and will remain in Pakistan.

Therefore, the suggestion mentioned above should be followed by the people of Pakistan and the organizations that produce plastic-related products, as those organizations could not be closed suddenly because many people are earning from those organizations.

Moreover, when speaking about plastic manufacturing machines and equipment, the first thing that comes to mind nowadays is plastic bottles and plastic shoppers' waste. That's why with those machines, it is essential to discuss these factors discussed.
